Use Rentcontrol as general information and respect the limits that keep the service available.
Informational service
Rentcontrol provides general legal information, not legal advice or representation. Coverage may be incomplete. Check the cited authority and seek qualified local help for your situation. These terms do not disclaim basic accuracy controls, consumer rights, or responsibilities that cannot legally be disclaimed.
Acceptable use
Do not disrupt the service, bypass access controls, probe private artifacts, submit unlawful content, misrepresent generated output as legal advice, or use automated access to exhaust source, queue, or AI-provider capacity. Bulk extraction and automated generation require prior permission. Ordinary browser access and assistive technology are welcome.
Throttling and rate limits
Per-visitor and network rate limits, concurrent-generation limits, source-fetch ceilings, and cost ceilings protect availability. Limits may change with measured capacity. A throttled request can receive HTTP 429 and a Retry-After direction. Equivalent requests may join an active job rather than start another run.
Computed artifact retention and reuse
Validated computed versions, source manifests, evidence references, model and review records, and correction history are retained under documented lifecycle rules for provenance, replay, security, and rollback. Reuse occurs only while the manifest and policy remain current. Service availability is not guaranteed, and failed validation results in abstention rather than partial legal claims.
AI provider processing
New computation requires configured AI providers to process the minimum necessary jurisdiction and primary-source context through Cloudflare AI Gateway. Provider credentials are never sent to browsers. Provider training is disabled and provider retention is minimized where contractually available.
Corrections and changes
Use the correction route to report problems. Material source, policy, or correction changes can withdraw or replace a computed version. Continued use after updated terms take effect is subject to the updated terms.
