Privacy
Rentcontrol collects only the operational information needed to provide and protect the service.
Location queries
Country, state, city, and year can be sensitive. Normalized request keys are retained for deduplication and computed-result reuse. They are not attached to advertising profiles. Do not submit precise addresses, ZIP codes, legal-problem narratives, leases, or identity documents.
Throttling and security records
Short-lived network and request metadata may be used for rate limiting, abuse prevention, diagnostics, and security. These operational records are kept separate from restricted generation audits and are deleted or aggregated under limited retention schedules. Exact periods may vary by security need and infrastructure logs.
Computed artifact retention
Source snapshots, evidence references, generated versions, model inputs and outputs, review reports, and correction provenance are retained in private, access-controlled storage under defined lifecycle rules. Retention supports replay and accountability; it is not indefinite retention of visitor or abuse-prevention data. Raw audit artifacts are not publicly listable.
AI provider processing
When a new overview is needed, the minimum necessary jurisdiction and primary-source context is processed through configured AI providers via Cloudflare AI Gateway. Browser requests never contain provider credentials. Provider training is disabled and provider retention is minimized where contractually available. Provider processing is subject to the configured provider terms.
No advertising trackers
Rentcontrol does not use third-party advertising trackers or sell renter data. Correction email is used to review the report; do not include sensitive case documents. For privacy questions, email privacy@terragohan.com.
